About Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson has always been passionate about jewelry making. His jewelry-making journey begun roughly eleven years ago. Starting with wire wrapping and stringing beads, he honed this skill and showcases his unique bead embroidery with a strong focus on ancient African symbolism.

As a retired Physical Education teacher Michael Johnson has always had a devotion to creating meaningful gifts that will make the people wearing them feel special. He stands firm behind his art and believes that it is an expression of his love for life. Michael is committed to sharing his gift of craftsmanship with others.

He previously taught classes for the Duval Public School System for approximately thirty-four years. In addition to this, he has a history of track and field and is a proud graduate of Edward Waters College, HBCU.

The man behind the beautiful craftsmanship was once a musician in Raines and Northwestern Orchestra. He played the viola for six years for these groups while in school. Additionally, Michael is a pastor and teacher who pushes individuals to see the good in themselves and is steadfast in raising conscious minds to a higher level.
